Woman smiling, the founder of Epilogue, Nadine.

Hello

My name is Nadine, and I’m the founder of Epilogue — a bespoke celebration-of-life planning service designed to gently take care of the details, allowing friends and family the space to focus on their grief and honouring the life being remembered.

My Story

My name is Nadine, and at my core, I’ve always been someone who cares deeply about how people experience meaningful moments.

My background is in event planning and project management, where I’ve spent years organizing complex details, coordinating moving pieces, and creating experiences that feel seamless and intentional. But what has always mattered most to me isn’t just the logistics — it’s the feeling people leave with. I’ve always been drawn to personalizing celebrations, whether it was birthdays, weddings, or gatherings for the people I love. The small details, the music, the atmosphere — the things that make a moment feel unmistakably yours.

I’ve also experienced loss, and I’ve sat in rooms that didn’t quite reflect the person being remembered. That disconnect stayed with me. It deepened my compassion for those navigating grief, and it shaped my belief that farewells should feel as personal and meaningful as any other important life event.

When I imagine my own celebration of life, I picture something filled with warmth and joy. A 90s and early 2000s R&B playlist playing in the background. A table with candy and all my favourite foods. People dancing, laughing, sharing stories — celebrating fully and freely, like no one is watching. Not defined only by loss, but by the life that came before it.

Epilogue was created from that belief — that every life deserves to be honoured in a way that feels true. My role is to bring care, clarity, and thoughtful attention to each family I work with, holding the details so they can focus on being present with one another.

This work is deeply personal to me, and it’s a privilege to support others in creating meaningful goodbyes.
